Barbers and Beauticians (B&B) is a community health and education outreach program. It has been in existence for many years and is designed to reach out to local barbers & beauticians to share information on a multitude of health issues that affect community members.

B&B's are also trained to share information about using condoms to educate community members of the risks of HIV/STDs and how condoms prevent them from spreading. This is done through distribution of condoms to the local shops and by hosting several community education events. B&B's also work to promote early childhood literacy by leaving children’s books at the shops for parents/guardians to take and share with their child(ren).

​B&B's at local shops are trained on health and wellness issues including but not limited to topics such as:
mental health, suicide, diabetes, wellness, nutrition, alcohol and drug addictions, effects of smoking, personal health, and many more.
